Glad that is over

Well, the headache that I was suffering from yesterday is mercifully over. I can get back to my daily business today. I did manage to go and meet Faith for her walk home and we did have a nice evening as the headache had subsided for the most part.

The site was down for a bit last night. My hosting said that a php library was missing. At least they fixed it pretty fast. Thing is, it was critical for the site to be up last night as I got rejected for membership in a web group when they saw the error message. I have had to start the process all over again. Funny how things work out like that.

My site hits are yet again on the rise. I hate to sound like a traffic whore, but once you get to a certain level of hits a day you feel a bit odd when the traffic slows. I know that it was because of my move from Blogger but knowing the truth does not always help. At least the traffic is returning. By the way, has anyone seen Brock since the move?

I am just going to hit random thoughts today as I don’t have any one thing worth writing a whole post on.
I have just found the most useful peice of jewelry for a guy like me.
guitar slide ring
I saw this in Worthing at a sidewalk stall and imediately thought of my guitar. I have been trying to find a way to play slide licks while still being able to finger chords and solos. This ring was only £1, so I had to try it. It is adjustable, so I can wear it at the middle joint, and it is wide enough to play slide. It is also curved to help me keep it on the string in question.

Well, after trying it out for a week I have to say, this is the best thing that I have bought for my guitar in ages. The ring works just like I thought it would. It does not effect my normal playing one bit. I have actually started to wear the thing all the time, which does get me some strange looks. I just tell people that I am a guitar player, so it is allright. That of course does not stop the looks. Screw em, I like the damn thing.

I am finally at the point in my life where I can say this and mean it. I am not half as smart as I was as a kid, but I now know and understand so much more.

I hope that everyone enjoyed the “View from a Balcony” movie that I put up. Today and probably tommorrow I will be working on the Germany movie. I have so much footage to go through. I will also try to get a podcast up either today or tommorrow. This depends on the news. From now on I will not do podcasts daily, but when the news of the day inspires me. I have to be able to get into what I am talking about.

I have started to put the Reaching for Lucidity Studio portion of the site together. I will have it completed by next week hopefully. I also have several paintings that I need to get done. The muse is finally back in all of her glory. I say, “Welcome back, I have missed you so!”.

Well, that will do it for now.

Be seeing you…
