Things are going well behind the scenes here at Reaching for Lucidity. The site design is moving along smoothly and I am getting things the way that I like them.
I know that I said last week that I would have everything done by today. Well, that is not going to happen. I still want to add a couple more templates to the site to choose from, and possibly get rid of one that I already have up. Plus, one that is up, and I am happy with still needs to be worked on a bit. The “Glad-I-Ate_er” template is 100% not my design and that bothers me some. I still like the design but I am going to have to personalize it to be comfortable. I want to at least put my own graphic stamp on it.
What do all of you think of the three templates that I have right now? Let me know in my comments. I am probably going to remove the “Whiteish” design as it is not really appealing to me anymore. The “Neat” design still works, at least to me. Give me some feedback so I will know what direction to take.
I am looking forward to getting back to my daily podcast take on the current news. Hopefully I will be able to get that going again by Thursday or so. I enjoyed my first one from last week and want to make that a regular feature of this blog.
Next on the plate after all of that is the design of the Reaching for Lucidity Studio section of the site. For those that did not listen to the podcast last week, I have shut down Eban Crawford Studio for good. The name of the art studio is from now on going to be Reaching for Lucidity Studio. I am bringing all of my projects under the Reaching for Lucidity banner. This project may take a while as I want to do it right from the start rather than do it half-assed and spend all of my time fixing it later.
I am still waiting for the video equipment that I ordered to arrive. PC World may be the slowest company on the planet. I made my order Friday morning and they have not even shipped yet. As soon as I get my equipment the video blogging will be starting up again as well. I can’t wait to have better software and equipment to work with.
Well, that is pretty much where things stand for now. I promise I will get back to my normal posting quantity as soon as possible.
Be seeing you…
