Senator Jaiz Music to Highlight the Extreme Mammals Gala on Sept. 25th

On September 25, 2015, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences is holding a $150 a ticket event to celebrate the opening of their Extreme Mammal exhibit and to celebrate this past year with museum members.

The exhibit is in cooperation with the American Museum of Natural History. The event will have live animals, a preview of the exhibit, food, open bars, and the band The Soul Psychedelique Orchestra will provide dancing for the evening.

Oh yeah, Senator Jaiz has a part also. SJ has composed a suite, Call of the Wild, to be performed at the event that utilizes mammal sounds as a tie-in. The sounds are provided by partners The Conservators’ Center and The Duke Lemur Center as well as other sources.

Performing to the Senator Jaiz composition will be performance troupe Elevate. Elevate will enlist dancers and acrobats to create a Cirque performance atmosphere to bring SJ’s sounds into the visual world.

Tickets are available right here!

The album of tunes from the event, Call of the Wild, will go on sale in the near future with a portion of the proceeds going to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, The Conservators’ Center, and the Duke Lemur Center.
