One Step Closer

Author: If you are here at the site, you can see that the redesign of RfL from a new media, Mevio centered, site to a freelance design site is well underway. If you are reading this in Google Reader, or some other reader, then you probably can’t see what I am talking about.
I swear, I am not done producing RfL 2.0 or the Animated Adventures. I am just 100% focused on building my business and getting new clients. Luckily for me, that side is going well.
Now, I have to get back to paying the bills. Back to the client work, in other words.

I am Just Being Honest
That is right, I am being honest over at Reaching for Lucidity Productions, specifically in the New Media Cynic portion of the site. I am being honest about where I am in my career, on the web, and how I was “faking it before making it” for quite a while. I even open up a bit, but not too much, about my relationship with Mevio.
It is funny how honesty works. But, I am not only confessing things I once hid, I am also rejoicing. You see, once I stopped playing at being successful online, I freed up a lot of time to actually become successful online. I just had to stop trying to do things the way I thought things should go and get out of the way and let life happen.
Funny how that works.
Anyway, that is where things are right now. I am riding a wave from win to win and sharing the recent past of fail to fail with you at the same time.
Let’s just say I like the win to win much more than the fail to fail. I am not as much as a masochist as people think.
